I was born and raised by an Afrikaans old school mother, one of those who stayed at home, wore court shoes, cleaned every day, organized the house, and when dad arrived, it appeared as if she had hired a staff of six cleaners, cooks, teachers, stylists, and carers… Cleaning is both in my blood and my passion. From a young age, I was led by an influential lady. Having said that, I continually aim to learn, be inventive, and be better than yesterday, breaking previous records and outcomes, time after time…
Life does not always go as planned; sometimes we are pushed in one direction and then in another. I was a Commercial Kitchen Designer in the Covid pandemic 2020, and I enjoyed my position, which I had for about ten years. I was unable to return to work because my son’s school was still closed. My spouse recommended we go to his father’s house, buy carpet cleaning equipment, and have his father train me… Long story short, life pulled me away from a career I loved and would never have left for a journey where my purpose is fulfilled.
